Cirque Du Soleil
Rigging/Automation Intern
This past summer I was a rigging/automation intern with Cirque du Soleil’s Love in Las Vegas. I executed full show tracks that included rigging and flying of acrobats, and their specific scenery elements. By preforming daily inspections and maintenance on the rigging and automation systems of the show, I was able to expand my skills and trouble-shooting abilities. During the summer I was fully certified to execute rescue techniques for all flown acts in the show. The last few weeks of my internship one of the full time riggers went out with an injury and I completely executed his tracks and responsibilities.
The Santa Fe Opera

Prior to Cirque I spent a season with the Santa Fe Opera; where as a stagehand I worked on load in, operation, and load out of the five show season. Santa Fe is a fast paced repertory opera house, where efficiency and safety are paramount.
During the 2015 summer season i was apart of the word permiere for "Cold Mountain". I was also the automation operator for "Daughter of the Regiment"

Responsibility's for "Frozen summer fun" included: Complete knowlege and understanding of Co2 cannons, foggers, and hazer systems. I was also responsible for 6 large snow machines along the roofs of the main street of Hollywood Studios.
Other experience with WDW includes staging crew for the Epcot NYE event. We worked 5 over-nighters to completely transform Epcot's world showcase into a giant party zone with 8+ stages and multiple effects rigs.
